“When I first learned that sex trafficking was not just a distant problem but a reality in our world, it shook me to my core. I struggled to comprehend how something so horrific could exist. That awareness settled heavily in my heart. While I began by donating money, I felt an undeniable urge to contribute in a more impactful way.

I was fortunate enough to visit the farm at Dahlia’s Hope several times, where I eagerly rolled up my sleeves to pull weeds and help maintain the grounds. Those moments were fulfilling, but when I learned they needed an indoor arena for the survivors to engage in therapy sessions with the animals, I knew I had to step up. So, I gathered my doTERRA team and set out with a fierce determination to raise the funds for this vital building. It was a team effort; they came up with such creative and inspiring ways to generate support.

Every time we brainstormed and shared our ideas, I could feel the excitement building, knowing we were on a mission that truly mattered. When we finally hit our fundraising goal, the elation was overwhelming. I felt a joy so deep it could hardly be put into words. I was profoundly grateful to every single person who stepped forward to help, whether their contribution was big or small. The beauty of it all was the community we created—each person playing a part in something so much larger than ourselves.

Now, as I look ahead, I can hardly contain my excitement about the lives this space will touch. I envision the healing moments, the connections formed, and the lives transformed. These teaching and healing experiences will create lasting memories for the survivors.

Often, we may not fully grasp the significance of our actions as they unfold in the present. A single choice can create ripples that affect generations. Whether it’s a heartfelt conversation with someone or a large-scale project like this one, the impact can be incredible.

I believe we may never fully understand the legacy we create through this therapy arena. Just knowing we’re providing a space for healing fills my heart with hope and joy.

In my own life, I’ve been blessed by many who have uplifted and inspired me, and that generosity fuels my desire to give back. I’m truly honored to play a role in this journey, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds for all the survivors involved.

It’s so important to remember that every little thing we do matters—whether it’s a simple act of kindness in our daily lives or participating in something bigger. The difference we make may not always be visible, but it has the power to resonate far beyond our time here on earth.

And that thought brings me the greatest joy.”
